Mark’s Salmon Spread Recipe


Mark’s Salmon Spread Recipe

Ingredients:

1 pkg of cream cheese (8 oz)
1 pc of celery (stalk); chopped finely
1/2 c of walnuts; crushed
1/2 c of onion (green); chopped finely
1/2 tsp of cayenne
1/2 tsp of coriander (ground)
1 pc of cucumber; peeled and sliced thinly
1 pkg of crackers (Wheatsworth)
Juice from 1 pc of lemon (fresh, not bottled)
Freshly ground pepper (black)
24 pcs of salmon (smoked); sliced into 3×1 inch
1 pc of dill bunch (fresh)

Instructions:

Combine cheese, walnuts, celery, onion, cayenne, coriander, and juice of lemon; mix thoroughly till blended well.

Place one teaspoon of mixture onto an end of salmon strip then sprinkle freshly ground pepper; roll it up like a jellyroll. Do the same to all. Cover plastic then place inside the refrigerator till chilled.

Arrange the crackers or toasted bread on a serving platter. Place one slice of cucumber onto each then place one piece of rolled salmon over. Garnish them with dill.
