Salmon Steak Recipe
Ingredients:
2 pcs of salmon (steaks)
1/4 c of wine (dry white)
1 pc of bay leaf
2 Tbsps of dill (fresh)
1 pc of celery (stalk); cut up
For the Cucumber-dill Sauce:
1/4 c of plain yogurt (low fat)
1/4 c of mayonnaise (lite)
1 pc of cucumber (small); seeded and grated
1 pc of onion (small); peeled and grated
1/8 tsp of mustard (dry)
1/4 c of dill (fresh); chopped
Salt and Pepper (to taste)
Instructions:
Place the steaks on a microwave-safe dish. Add wine, bay leaf, dill, and celery over the steaks and cover. Microwave for 4 to 6 mins at a high setting. Serve together with the sauce.
(Cucumber Dill Sauce)
Combine yogurt, mayonnaise, cucumber, onion, mustard, and dill inside the processor then process till blended smoothly. Season salt and pepper then transfer on a bowl. Place inside the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hrs. Serve.
